Hellboy causing hell at MCM Comic Con

David Harbour is first guest announced for May 2019's London MCM Comic Con

Hellboy MCM Comic Con

MCM Comic Con have begun to start the hype train for their first London event of 2019 and they’ve announced their very first guest. They’re hoping to raise hell, hopefully not literally, with the appearance of new Hellboy – David Harbour.

Harbour, a reliable character actor with supporting roles in films such as The Equaliser, Quantum of Solace, and Black Mass, found mainstream attention for his role as Chief Jim Hooper on Netflix’s wildly popular Stranger Things.

His success on Stranger Things has lead him to taking up the mantle of Hellboy for the comic book’s cinematic reboot, directed by Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, The Descent). Taking over from Ron Perlman is no easy task but we think the omens are good based on the first trailer for the reboot. If you need a good look at Harbour as Hellboy, we’ve put the first trailer below for your viewing pleasure.

Hellboy opens in UK cinemas on April 11th, 2019.

Tickets for MCM Comic Con London are now available. Don’t wait too long, the weekend tickets tend to sell out quickly! To find out more about the show itself, visit their website for more information.

Bunkazilla attended MCM Comic Con last October and we managed to take part in a few interviews, check out them out here.
