What happens in this episode?

This episode was recorded live on 25th June 2020.

This episode’s guests include podcaster and film reviewer Leslie Pitt, podcaster and the multi-talented Nathan Blades and fellow Bunkazilla contributor Lizzie Barnes. As always, each guest brings a pop or geek culture themed topic to dissect and discuss.

Leslie talks about the life and career of Joel Schumacher, who sadly passed away in June. Infamously remembered for one Batman film but forgotten for a healthy body of cinematic titles like The Lost Boys, Flatliners and Tigerland.

Lizzie focuses her topic on how fans are trying to cope with the occasional problematic view of popular creators – highlighting the recent events surrounding J.K. Rowling.

Finally, Nathan sheds light on the amazing fundraising by who raised over $8 million dollars to help bring equality and racial justice during the Black Lives Matters protests.
