It all started with an idea for a podcast, and then the world went all kinds of sideways in March. Now, a mere six months later, Paul and Andrew have got themselves back on track to watch all of the Friday the 13th movies in order. Now it will be done using the power of internet connectivity, on the platform known as Twitch, so you can watch along* with them and hear their vital opinions on a 20-year-old horror franchise that redefined the concept of “how bloody many are there!?”. Then you’ll be able to hear more of their opinions as Paul decides the official ranking of each film in The Hall Of Fridays!
Yes, your every Tuesday starting from the 20th of October onwards for about 12 weeks can be taken up, between 8pm and 10pmish, with two middle-aged blokes musing on a series of supernatural slasher movies that they missed when they first came out. They’ll riff, they’ll laugh, they’ll make funny noises at all the squishy bits, and they’ll try to make some kind of sense of all 1,112 minutes of it within the context of the modern world. IMPORTANT BIT!
Paul And Andrew Watch All Of Friday 13th is a “Bring Your Own Friday 13th” series and the Streams will not include any playback of the films. In order to fully take part in this horrific series, you will need to source a copy of the film covered and press play when our brave hosts tell you to!
We have compiled a timetable of when Andrew and Paul are watching the films along with a link to view the film through Amazon. Most of the films are also available individually at online retailers – sadly, the box set compiling 1-8 is not regularly available at the moment (boo!).
If you can’t join the stream on the night, we’ll make the streaming audio available as a special audio commentary afterwards! It’s like your own unofficial Friday the 13th Bunkazilla commentary.
