What happens in this episode? 

This episode of The Big Stomp was broadcast first on Twitch on 28th October 2020.

Bunkazilla Station Controller, Iain Boulton, takes the host chair for The Raggedyman for another edition of The Big Stomp. In this episode, Iain is joined by Hugh K. David, Harriett Greene (aka MangaGirl) and Lizzie Barnes.

In this episode, the guests bring the topics and we start off with Lizzie’s discussion of loot boxes – a contentious issue in gaming – as EA find themselves served with another lawsuit regarding the gambling nature of the game feature.

Hugh brings forward the current situation regarding UK cinemas following the latest delay of No Time to Die, the potential move to streaming and how cinemas need to rethink their business plans when they re-open again.

Finally, Harriet talks about the increased popularity in online social games including About Us and discusses why these games are gaining higher traction than ever on gaming channels.
