The Raggedyman is here with another exciting edition of our geek topical discussion show, The Big Stomp. This time out he’s joined by PinkAppleJam, Felflowne and Mel for more debates and insights into the world of geek culture.
PinkAppleJam starts proceedings with the topic Netflix Conquers The World which takes look at Netflix’s impact on Anime and anime fan’s attitudes towards it following the publishing of Cecilia D’Anastasio’s Wired article.
The on-going saga of Twitch and DMCA are the focus of Mel’s topic – It’s Fun TO Play With A DMCA – picking up the sudden spike of copyright claims against videogame sounds on Twitch and the general state of copyright use for fan streaming.
Our third topic – BBC Licence and Chill has fellow guest Felflowne exploring the fall in people needing BBC Licenses and it’s impact of streaming services on the British TV experience.
