This episode was first broadcast on Bunkazilla UK’s Twitch channel on Wednesday 27th of January 2021.
The Raggedyman begins 2021 Big Stomp streams with guests Lizzie Barnes, Hugh K. David and Thaddaeus Frogley for our regular debate and insights into the world of geek culture.
Lizzie kicks things off with the reveal of The KFConsole. A console that started as a joke but may become an actual reality thanks to KFC. The panel discusses it’s practicalities, it’s potential, and the joys of marketing nonsense.
Thaddaeus turns the discussion to the world of D&D with the arrival of Candlekeep Mysteries which has shed light on the issues of diversity in D&D writing, but is a lack of diversity and issue and will the book have any impact in the wider RPG/TT gaming world?
Finally, Hugh turns the panel’s attention to Marvel Studio’s first proper dip into the television world with WandaVision. Is it a concept too far? Does criticism of Wandavision show how our TV viewing habits have changed, or have Marvel just dropped the ball by parodying 50+-year-old shows?
